"CREATE" Banner

I have been wanting a banner for my scrap room that says create, I just couldn't figure out what I wanted to make it from.  I found these cool acrylic banner pieces at Scrapbooker's Emporium that I thought would be fun to try.  I used a bag of those K&Co. die cut pieces and I think it was the Crafty or Create set that I used.  It had paper and acetate die cuts in the set.  It was a lot of fun to put together and I think it turned out great.  Exactly what my craft room needed!
The banner is by Clear Scraps, the letters are chipboard, I used K&Co. die cuts, Rock Candy Crackle paint, stickles, Prima flowers, ribbons, the papers are Daisy D's and tulle to tie it all together!

Library Drawer Album

This is my version of the 7 Gypsies library drawer.  I had these little trays that I had bought at M's on clearance for $1 a while back in my alterable stash.  When I saw the library drawer on the 7 Gypsies website I decided to make my own.  The tray was bare wood so I painted it out in black, distressed it with my Tim Holtz sanding block and added the bookplate.  Next I got to work on the dividers using the Tim Holtz general and seasonal paper pads.  The seasonal one I plan on using to make mini's for each holiday.  This is going to be a year long project and I will post pictures as it comes together.

Coolness!

How cute is my new glue gun that I found at Michael's!  It matches my new scrapbook room!!!
