Wood Veneers
These make me so happy. All if my wonderful new wood veneers in my most recent thrift store find-vintage metal measuring cups. I also got a vintage green carry-on suitcase. Thinking of using it to hold all of my clear stamp sets. Not sure yet. Happy crafting.

Project Life Cards
So lately I have been obsessed with the 3x4 Project Life cards. I love making them. They are finished and there is a sense of having accomplished something. As my stash of 6x6 paper pads grows so does my stash of Project Life cards! I love them!!!

Collage Art #2
Today I did another page in my collage art book. The base is Mango paint by Making Memories. I used some leftover marine alpha stickers for the word "art", rub ons, , blue and white paint, a journal stamp and some tiny type letter stickers. Add in some papers from the scrap drawer and some hole reinforcers and today's collage is complete. Happy creating!

Handmade Tags
I've been working away in my craft room today on my unexpected day off. While working on my Project Life I needed a little journaling tag so I decided to make up a whole batch just to have on hand. I started with a 12x12 sheet of white card stock and cut it down to size using a premise American Crafts tag as a template. For the colored holes I painted some hole reinforcers red with craft paint.
Collage Art
Today I am home from work with my daughter who had some oral surgery on Friday. Bless her heart she is still swollen and not feeling well. In between heating up KFC mashed potatoes and doing laundry I decided to start on my collage art journal. My first two page spread started off with Caribbean blue Apple Barrel paint and a pile of scrap paper I gathered from the scrap drawer. The quote is cut from an old 2011 calendar. Add in some washi tape, a tag, white ink splats, a doily and dyed lace trim and there you have it. Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed the art!
