The Park Bench Design team project for Scrapbooker's Emporium is ready for delivery. Thought I would share so that you can see one of the many things that can be made with this kit. I had tons of supplies left over to use on other projects.

Stay tuned to scrapbookersemporium.blogspot.com to find out when this kit will be available for purchase on Etsy. Thanks for stopping by!!

Amazing Together

Today I'm sharing another layout I did while on retreat in March. This one features my older daughter and her BF and the same This and That collection from Echo Park. I used a few brads from my stash and SC Potty People(love those!) and a die cut heart. These two are...so cute together! Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Photo Challenge: Sun Flare

I carried my camera with me yesterday when we took the boat out on the lake fishing and managed to capture a few shots with sun flare and sparkle which are two things on the list of photo challenges. We had fun fishing. I caught one crappie and my hubby caught three bass. Fish for dinner!!!

Cute!

I stopped by M's today to browse around and saw this Recollections spiral bound book that has the Amy Tangerine papers in it. It has pocket and die cut pages and is so cute! I have decided to put all the girls Instagram photos that I snag inside. I know I don't need another project but I'm a sucker for notebooks!!

Beautiful

Today I am sharing one of the 12x12 layouts I made while at the scrapbook retreat in March. This layout features a picture of my younger daughter and some papers and embellishments from the Echo Park This and That line. I used the wood grain paper for the background and added some elements from the sticker sheet. I also used some Studio Calico wood veneers, some papers from the Dear Lizzy Neopolitan collection and some white Mr. Huey's color mist. Add in a doiley, bakers twine, Studio G brad, mini tag and washi from my stash and the layout is complete. Thanks for stopping by!

Photo Challenge!

The recent upgrades in cell phone photo resolution has significantly diminished my use of my SLR camera. It used to be a rare occasion when I left my house without it but now, thanks to iPhone technology, I can take pretty good photos with my phone and don't have to lug around a big camera. Even though it's more convenient I find myself missing my chunky little sidekick so...I am embarking on a photo challenge. I have pinned a few challenge lists on Pinterest and I have my camera battery charging. I'm probably not going to tie myself to a challenge per day or anything like that but hopefully I can get back into using my beloved Canon SLR again. Stay tuned...photos coming soon!!!!

This week I received my next kit for the Scrapbooker's Emporium Design Team and it's packed with awesome goodies including the Fancy Pants Park Bench collection. I love the aquas, yellows and grays in this collection and I am ready to create. Check back later to see what I come up with!!!

Goodbye

Today I am sharing a project I put together for my boss who is leaving us. I used a 11x14 $5 Walmart frame and painted it out in cream and then distressed it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I removed the glass and covered the backing with some paper from my stash. I made "clotheslines" from twine and hung all the items from tiny clothespins. I had the staff sign the empty frame in the bottom right corner before we gave it to her.

Thanks for stopping by! ~A
